Thirumurugan s/o N. Ganapathy Pillai, rebranded and refined it as "Madurai Pandian Appalam" and started its business journey with a new luster. Exports starting from Malaysia, Singapore, Kenya, Maldives, United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, London, Qatar, Oman. Then it expanded beyond Tamil Nadu to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Andaman.

Was disappointed when I saw the size at first felt ripped off. Then I fried them and they blew up in size to standard papad size. Airy, fluffy and not at all oily and super yumm. Typical south indian flavour. Worth the time it took for delivery. Will order more.
